Description

Drawing on the reflective practice, supervision and professional development micro-credential, this session explores reflection as an ethical and relational practice rather than simply reviewing performance. Participants will consider the stories shaping their work, the influence of power and organisational context, and the people, values and commitments that help them remain connected to the practitioner they want to be.

Who it is for

Practitioners, team leaders, supervisors and managers who want practical approaches to individual and collective reflection.

What you will learn

By the end of this session, participants will be able to:

  • Use a narrative reflection structure to examine practice decisions, assumptions and context.
  • Identify the values, commitments and relationships that shape professional identity.
  • Apply reflective questions in supervision, peer reflection or team learning without turning reflection into blame.

Resources included

Narrative reflection worksheet; supervision prompts; personal practice commitment template.
