Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to pay for help?
No. All specialist homelessness services funded by the Queensland Government are free and confidential.
What if I'm not sure I'm 'homeless enough'?
If your housing situation is unsafe, unstable, or you’re at risk of losing it — you deserve help. There’s no threshold you need to meet.
Can I get help if I'm in regional or remote Queensland?
Yes. There are specialist homelessness services across the state, including regional and remote areas. Call 1800 474 753 to be connected to your nearest service.
What should I bring when I contact a service?
You don’t need to bring anything. If you have ID documents that’s helpful, but it’s not required to get support.
