Mission
To lead with purpose and influence — uniting voices, shaping systems, and securing lasting solutions to prevent and end homelessness in Queensland.
Vision
Homelessness Queensland works in partnership with its diverse membership — including government and non-government organisations, and people with lived or living experience of homelessness — to prevent and end homelessness across Queensland.
We advocate for the vital work and interests of our members within the Specialist Homelessness Services (SHS) sector, focusing on improving systems, strengthening support, and delivering better outcomes for people at risk of or experiencing homelessness.
Through this collective effort, we directly and indirectly support people experiencing homelessness by sharing knowledge, centring lived expertise, influencing policy, and driving continuous improvement across the sector.
Values
We are guided by openness, honesty, transparency, integrity and accountability. These values shape how we work and how we represent our members. We provide practical support, strong advocacy and professional development, while creating opportunities for connection, collaboration, and shared learning across the sector.
