Homelessness Queensland has released From Investment to Impact: Strengthening Queensland’s Housing and Homelessness System — a review of the 2026–27 Queensland State Budget and the path forward for the state’s housing and homelessness system.

Drawing on statewide consultation with more than 400 practitioners, sector leaders and people with lived and living experience across 14 regions, the report sets out how Queensland can convert its recent, substantial investment in housing supply and Specialist Homelessness Services into consistent, measurable impact. It identifies eight mutually reinforcing opportunities spanning prevention and early intervention, strategic partnerships, workforce capability, evidence-informed practice, outcomes measurement, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander leadership, lived-experience leadership, and continuous learning.
