At our recent meeting at YFS Logan, Liz Fritz was presented with Life Membership of the CHPQ, as well as a plaque to commemorate her commitment to ending homelessness, and to work towards change in the sector.

The Council to Homeless Persons Queensland is proud to announce their name change from South Queensland Council to Homeless Persons.
Council to Homeless Persons Queensland remains at the forefront of innovative solutions to homelessness, and works tirelessly for social justice for the service sector and people we work beside.
We are very pleased to announce the launch of our new name change to coincide with our Annual General Meeting for 2016.
We hope that this site will provide an opportunity for all our members and interested members of the community, to stay informed about our work and the core issues of concern to our membership.
In this NEWS section we will regularly post updates on issues to do with homelessness and we welcome any comments or suggestions that you might have.
