Attend a Forum
The Council hosts regular meetings and forums with representatives from the specialist homelessness sector and beyond. Our forums are an opportunity to share knowledge, feedback and work together to create better outcomes for clients and ultimately work towards achieving a shared vision for the future in which no one in Queensland is without a safe and secure home.
CHPQ Network Meetings
The monthly Member’s Network Meetings provide an opportunity for CHPQ members to discuss, reflect and raise concerns and changes impacting the sector.
CHPQ Working Groups
CHPQ’s Working Groups are formed around key sector issue areas with the purpose of providing solutions-focused recommendations that support better outcomes. The Working Groups provide an opportunity for the workforce to reflect on the systems and provide expert advice and guidance.
The Working Groups will support continuous improvement to enable a consistent, inclusive, safe and accountable service design and delivery.
CHPQ Bi-Monthly Interagency Reference Committee
The Interagency Reference Committee is comprised of senior-level representation from a broad cross-section of the housing and homelessness sector and other relevant key stakeholders. The Committee identifies systemic issues, gaps and needs, and where appropriate, advocates as a network for these to be addressed. It is an opportunity to define and rethink how services are delivered to achieving improved outcome to service users.
